Yajima USA, Limited is a privately-owned Japanese company.

The plant in Reno, Nevada was established to service Yajima's Japanese customer, Nippon Steel Corporation; for the manufacture of Nippon Steel's Unbonded Brace™ (U.S. patent 6,826,874) for the U.S. market. 

Current projects at Yajima USA's plant include Unbonded Braces™ for two new hospitals Kaiser Vacaville in California and a new hospital at the University of  California at Davis Medical Center in Sacramento.

Yajima USA, Limited also provides a wide range of fabrication and metal working services. Our production is not limited to project based business but encompasses specialty steelwork, prototypes and product development.


Yajima USA, Limited has a 21,000 sq. ft. facility in South Reno. Plant equipment includes:

  • Hypertherm HT4400 Plasma Cutter with a capacity of 46'x10'x2".  The machine cuts to very tight tolerances with very little kerf run out.
  • 30" Amada band saw.
  • Takeda NC plate drill.
  • Takeda NC wide flange drilling machine.
  • Shinko tube and pipe beveling machine, 20"x16" capacity.
  • NKK plate beveling machine, 2" capacity
  • 2-5 ton and 2-3 ton gantry cranes
